Jingobid uses a system of membership points to participate in our bargain Auctions. These can be purchased from our website in different size "Bidpacks". When you use a Bid in a regular Auction, you become the highest bidder, the Auction price will usually increase by $1 HKD (This can vary in special Auctions) and the Auction timer will extend slightly. When you use a Bid in a Drop Sale, the current Dropped price will decrease by a set amount (Usually $1 HKD) and it will be revealed to you for a set amount of time (Usually 20 seconds) during which you can choose to purchase the item at that price.

Bonusbids, like normal Bids, are used when bidding for items. However their usage differs from normal Bids in a few different ways:

• Expiry Date: Unlike normal Bids, Bonusbids have an expiry date, so use them as soon as possible! If you obtain new Bonusbids, the expiry date for any current Bonusbids that you have is extended.
• Purchase: You cannot purchase Bonusbids. You receive Bonusbids through special offers e.g. buying the 100 or 200 Bidpack, or signing up your friends to JingoBid.com using 'Tell a friend'.
• Usage: Bonusbids are used after all your normal Bids are used up.
• Dropsale: Using a Bonusbid in a Dropsale will reveal the price, but will not reduce the price.

To reward our members, we have a system of Bonus Bids that can be earned from:

• Placing unsuccessful bids in regular Auctions. If you were bidding on an Auction and were unsuccessful we will give you 8 Bonus Bids for every 30 Bids that you spent, once the Auction ends. We don't like you to walk away empty-handed!
• Referring friends to Jingobid and having them sign up and purchase a Jingobid Bidpack
• Completing and returning a testimonial after winning an item.
• Other promotions that we will advertise.
